Corn-Mushroom Bake

Ingredients

  • – 1/4 C all-purpose flour
  • – 1 17-oz. can cream-style corn
  • – 1 3-oz package cream cheese cut in cubes
  • – 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • – 1 17-oz. can whole kernel corn drained
  • – 1/2 C shredded swiss cheese
  • – 1 4-oz can sliced mushrooms drained
  • – 1 and 1/2 C soft bread crumbs
  • – 3 tablespoons butter melted

Instructions

  • In saucepan stir flour into cream-style corn. Add cream cheese and onion salt, heat and stir ’til cream cheese melts. Stir in whole
  • kernel corn, sliced mushrooms, and shredded swiss cheese.
  • Turn mixture into a 1 1/2-qrt casserole. Toss crumbs with melted butter to combine. Sprinkle crumbs atop casserole. Bake
  • uncovered at 400F until heated through, 30 – 40 minutes.

This casserole is delicious. It’s basically love you can eat.

Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 cup sour milk
  • 3 crushed bananas
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup nuts

Instructions

  • Blend sugar, butter and eggs. Combine with bananas and milk.
  • Sift dry ingredients and stir in liquids.
  • Fold in nuts.
  • Bake at 350F in well-greased pan for 1 hour.
